As someone who is in a relationship with a person who undoubtedly has unresolved trauma and grief, based on a number of childhood losses, I find the insight it offers incredibly humbling. And, given that it is so informative, I find myself grateful for the knowledge it imparts. (I also, for the record, find myself addressing my own unresolved trauma and grief, though it is to a lesser degree than that of He Who Is In. Each of us does battle with our unconscious, I believe.)
