Here are my recent discoveries:
#336 -- My new favorite catchphrase: "Meditating through the Mayhem."
#337 -- Nathalie's amazing recent piece: "Eyes On Your Own Paper, Y'all."
#338 -- Seeing a movie at a local theatre on Monday.
#339 -- Pico Iyer's phenomenal recent column: "Rediscovering the Joy of Quiet." I've read it at least ten times.
#340 -- A brilliant before-and-after example of why I love interior design.
#341 -- Getting no fewer than four RSVPs for an event I volunteered to host on Sunday night.
#342 -- An opportunity to help lead the service effort of a group of like-minded 20's/30's individuals in my community and, therefore, to feel more invested in the community.
Finally, despite the fact that the world often seems cruel, chaotic and/or indifferent, there are often examples that cut through that hopelessness and provide us with reminders to be grateful and reasons to stay humble. This story of a recent rescue, featured on Ellen, is one such example (#343). Go watch it. It will rock your world.
Hope you guys are having a good week,
Me
